Old Kelsey Schoolhouse
Welcome...
Welcome to the online home of the Old Kelsey Schoolhouse. The Kelsey School has been a part of the history of Kelsey and the surrounding area since 1858. And we hope for many years to come.
There are many opportunities to participate, volunteer and to give.
It is more than an "old historic school". It is a "community center" gathering place for the Georgetown Divide Community!
You are cordially invited to become a part of this community by becoming a member of KCA and/or volunteering.

Help Rescue Kelsey School
In years gone by, Kelsey School was a thriving hub of the Kelsey Community. James Marshall was a part of the life of the school and it's teachers, students and families. He attended most of the school events. The school meant a lot to James Marshall.
And Kelsey School continues to be a place to gather for Community breakfasts, community organization meetings, family reunions and other events. The school/facility is available to rent.
The Kelsey Community Association is a non-profit group of local dwellers formed in 1958. In 2024, we will be celebrating 66 years. Now is a wonderful time to contribute your time and/or money to help upgrade and restore this historical landmark. There is so much work that must be done on the building-inside and out, and the land that is around it. Please consider giving a tax deductible gift by sending contributions to: P.O. Box 954, Georgetown, CA 95634 or Donate on our Go Fund Me page (fill out box to the right and click on "Go Fund Me" button to donate. Questions? Call Debbie (530) 621-2502 for additional information.
